Worship With Us at Redeemer Lutheran Church.

At Redeemer Lutheran Church in Olathe, worship is at the heart of everything we do. Each Sunday, our congregation gathers to celebrate God’s Word, receive the Sacrament, and grow in faith together. Whether you’re joining us for the first time or have been worshiping here for years, our services are designed to help you connect deeply with God, with others, and with your purpose.

“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”

— Colossians 3:16

What Worship Means At Redeemer Lutheran Church.

For us, worship is more than an hour on Sunday. It’s a rhythm that shapes our week and strengthens our relationship with God. Every service reflects the core of the Lutheran faith: salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone.

Our services are Christ-centered and Scripture-based, combining timeless traditions with a message that connects to everyday life. You’ll experience the richness of Lutheran liturgy, hymns that tell the story of God’s redeeming love, and sermons that point you toward hope and renewal in Christ.

Classic Praise Services.

Redeemer Lutheran Church offers Traditional Services every Sunday at 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM in the main sanctuary. These services are grounded in the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod (LCMS) tradition, blending reverence, Scripture, and community.

Each service includes:

  • Hymns led by organ and choir

  • Liturgical prayers and weekly communion

  • Scripture readings and a sermon from our pastors

  • Bulletins and on-screen guides to help you participate

You’ll find a welcoming mix of long-time members and first-time guests. Services last about 60–75 minutes, and both adults and children are invited to worship together.

Worship for Every Generation.

We believe worship connects people of every age and stage of life. Whether you’re a young family, a student, a working professional, or a retiree, Redeemer offers ways to grow in faith and feel part of the church community.

  • Families with Children: Nursery and toddler care (ages 6 weeks–5 years) are available during both services. Children are always welcome in the sanctuary, and special “Kid’s Corner” moments are part of select services.

  • Youth and Teens: Our youth participate in worship through music, service roles, and youth Bible study between services.

  • Adults and Seniors: Many adults serve as greeters, ushers, and choir members, helping make each service warm and meaningful.

Between services at 10:00 AM, we offer Bible study and Sunday school for every age group creating a bridge between worship and daily life.

“Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.”

— Proverbs 22:6

Worship for The Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Redeemer is deeply committed to accessibility and inclusion. We offer a signed service for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community every Sunday at 11:00 AM.

Our Deaf Ministry Team works alongside interpreters to ensure that every aspect of the service, from Scripture readings to hymns, is fully accessible through American Sign Language (ASL). This service is not separate or secondary, it’s integrated into our worship, allowing everyone to experience the Gospel together.

Special Praise and Seasonal Worship.

Throughout the year, Redeemer offers special opportunities to worship and reflect on God’s grace:

  • Advent and Christmas Services celebrating the birth of Christ

  • Lenten and Holy Week Services

  • Easter Services

  • Thanksgiving Worship

These seasonal services deepen our understanding of the Gospel story and invite our community to celebrate God’s faithfulness through every season of life.
