Pastor David Kahle

Lead Pastor

Pastor David Kahle has been leading Redeemer Lutheran Church in Olathe, Kansas, since November 2021, bringing a rich background in ministry, military service, and healthcare.

Raised on a farm near Kearney, Nebraska, he learned early the value of hard work and community. After high school, Pastor Kahle served in the U.S. Army as a Cavalry Scout during Desert Storm and later returned as a registered nurse. With nine years in emergency medicine and nine years of military service, he brings unique insight into leadership, compassion, and serving others in challenging times.

He earned his Master of Divinity from Concordia Theological Seminary in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and has been in full-time ministry since 2005. At Redeemer Lutheran Church, Pastor Kahle is committed to helping members grow in faith, offering guidance, and connecting personally with the congregation.

Pastor Kahle and his wife Merinda have been married since 1992 and are proud parents and grandparents. He enjoys gardening, home improvement projects, cooking, reading theology, and savoring a good glass of bourbon. Pastor Kahle thrives on building relationships and welcoming everyone who comes through the doors of Redeemer Lutheran Church.
